Alara Mental Health was founded by me, Dr. Grant Bullock, thats me over there in the blue shirt, I’m a Board certified Physician by the American Board of Neurology & Psychiatry. I have a central focus/ mantra which is “Psychiatric care works better when the Psychiatrist has time to speak with the Patient”, crazy I Know. Too many a modern Psychiatrist has been compressed into five-minute visits & long waitlists. Alara was built to be better — fewer patients, longer appointments, & a direct relationship with the Physician who actually knows your history, Concerns & Goals. .

As a telepsychiatry practice serving patients in a growing list of states, Alara offers full-spectrum psychiatric care — from medication management & psychotherapy to at-home ketamine treatment, medication-assisted recovery for opioids, Kratom, 7-OH, Nicotine, Alcohol, as well as metabolic & weight care. Every treatment plan is evidence-based, collaborative, & built around the person in front of us, not a diagnosis.

About Me. I am a board-certified physician by the American Board of Neurology & Psychiatry. I’ve spent my medical career in Psychiatry, with a particular focus on Psychedelic & Ketamine-assisted care. I started with a Bachelors in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, followed by a Masters Degree in Molecular Physiology from the University of Oslo in Norway, My Thesis was on molecular & functional physiology specifically myocyte hyperplasia/ hypertrophy. I did my medical training in Nevada at Touro/ University of Nevada Las Vegas. I went on to pursue postgraduate training in Psychedelic Medicine.
